Homes Not Jails wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good for the underrepresented homeless community. We exist whether you like how we or our possessions look, and deserve a safe place to do it.

At Homes Not Jails, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Homes not jails is by no means an easy task, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. There are over 40,000 unused/vacant properties in San Francisco and only about 8500 homeless. We believe that it is inhumane to constantly shuffle the unused every few days and act like San Francisco is offering Real viable options that are available NOW to people. And are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
